Overview
Fazeshift integrates with your back account to automatically sync incoming payments.
With Fazeshift's bank integration, you can:
Receive payment notifications
- Get notifications when a payment is received. You can configure this notification to send to a specific channel and to a specific person on your team.
View and manage payments
- See all historic payments by each customer.
- Break out bulk payments.
- Match payments to invoices.
- Void transactions that are not relevant.
Automate payment matching and reconciliation
- When a payment is made to your bank account, Fazeshift will automatically match the payment to the corresponding invoice and reconcile to your accounting platform, if you have one integrated.
- If Fazeshift cannot find a match, we will send you an alert so you can select an appropriate match.
- You can manage automatic payment match settings at any point.
Fazeshift is designed to take care of the heavy lifting. No more scanning bank statements - the platform will handle notifications, matching, and reconciliation and notify you if action is needed.
Setup
- Go to: More > Apps > Bank Account
- Click the "Connect" button (on the top left under the bank icon). You will be taken to a Plaid bank integration modal.
- Follow the instructions to verify your account credentials.
- Select your accounts to sync and approve the connection.
- You bank account should now be connected.
- It may take a few minutes to sync your payment data. You will receive an email when it is complete.
Note 1: On initial integration, Fazeshift will pull up to 24 months of historical payments. All historical payments will automatically be set to "archived" status. You can view and manage them from the Payments screen, and unarchive them at any point.
Note 2: New payments are synced from your bank account on a daily basis.
